Field and Logistics Specialist

Location: Karratha, WA – Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role:

This hands-on position supports heritage surveys, cultural programs, environmental monitoring and other field activities by managing logistics, equipment, travel and operational planning. Working closely with Traditional Owners, staff and external partners, you will help ensure activities are delivered safely, efficiently and respectfully while contributing to meaningful outcomes for Country and culture. This is an exciting opportunity to work in remote environments and be part of an organisation leading innovative cultural heritage and land management initiatives.

Community Language Learning and Development Specialist

Location: Pilbara, WA – Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role: We are seeking a passionate educator, mentor or trainer to join our Community Language Program and play a vital role in strengthening and revitalising PKKP language for future generations. As the Community Language Learning & Development Specialist, you will work alongside Community Language Officers (CLOs), supporting them to become confident language learners, teachers and future leaders within their communities. Through coaching, mentoring and practical learning, you’ll help build capability between formal language training sessions while contributing to community language programs, language camps, oral history projects and on-Country learning.
This is a unique opportunity to combine education, culture and community development in a role that creates lasting impact for PKKP Members and future generations.

Manager Pastoral Station

Location: Pilbara, WA – Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager, Pastoral Station to oversee the day-to-day operation of one of our pastoral properties in the Pilbara. This is more than a station management role. Our pastoral station is a strategic asset that supports PKKP’s long-term vision for caring for Country, creating opportunities for our people, and managing our land sustainably. Working in a remote, live-in environment, you will lead station operations while maintaining high standards of livestock management, property maintenance, environmental stewardship and workplace safety.

Single applicants are equally encouraged to apply and will be considered for the full Manager role, but we also welcome applications from couples. One partner may undertake the Manager, Pastoral Station role, while the other fills a complementary Caretaker position, supporting station administration, hospitality, accommodation, homestead maintenance and general station operations.

Junior Officer, Communications and Content

Location: Karratha, WA – Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role We’re seeking a motivated and creative Junior Officer, Communications and Content to join our Communications and Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their skills and experience in photography, videography, digital storytelling and communications while working closely with Rangers, Language Teams, Elders and Traditional Owners across PKKP Country. You’ll support the capture and creation of visual and digital content that showcases PKKP culture, projects, language, community initiatives and on-Country work. The role includes regular travel to remote locations and opportunities to learn directly from experienced communications professionals and community leaders. You don’t need to be an expert already – we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and enjoys connecting with people and community.
