Due to the flooding of roads as a result of Cyclone Veronica, NAC will be adjourning the AGM to Friday and Saturday, the 12th and 13th April 2019. The venue is still 50 Cent Hall, Roebourne, starting at 8:30am and finishing at 4:00pm on both days
The workshop will take place in Perth, Western Australia on the 16th, 17th and 18th of July 2019. The goal of the Indigenous Mapping Workshop is to build the capacity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Australia to use mapping tools to map and monitor their lands and tell their stories of connection with the land and water. This Conference will bring together people from across Australia who share a personal or professional passion for building citizen driven communities to –

- explore the institutions and structures which both impede and enhance citizen driven efforts;
- explore a range of tools and methodologies that will inspire and empower people to believe, behave and act like citizens in control of their community and their destiny;
- discover like-minded people with whom to network with and create a lasting legacy of peer-to-peer learning; and above all,
- have fun
