We are grateful and pay our respects to our Elders past, present, and emerging for sharing their stories, values, and beliefs, and for fighting for our native title rights. We acknowledge our Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura community and we extend our respect to all other Aboriginal groups within the Pilbara region.
PKKP Aboriginal Corporation acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of Country throughout Australia, and their continuing connection to land, water, and community.
The PKKP Aboriginal Corporation administers the traditional lands and waters of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people and the Pinikura people on their behalf.
These lands and waters cover approximately 10,888 square kilometres of Western Australia’s Pilbara region, between Onslow and Tom Price.

I am proud to represent the PKKP Aboriginal Corporation as the Chairperson.
The past few years has seen growth, resilience and progress for the corporation as we continue to face many challenges associated with mining activities on PKKP country, whilst focussing on serving the community and our members.
The Corporation continues to increase in numbers of staff, bringing in much needed talent, skills and experience to deliver greater benefits to our members and I commend what the corporation has achieved and has planned. Their hard work and commitment to our members enables us to continue to access assistance and programs for our benefit and our heritage remains protected.
To ensure our voices are heard, the Board and Corporation have spoken strongly for our community and PKKP Aboriginal corporation is now seen as a strong and respected voice in the Australian and international community.
Our recent purchase of Nanutarra Homestead is such an important part of our future. Not only does this place mean a lot to many members and their families who have fond memories of the homestead and station, but the Board is looking to the future, where this pace will become a hub for meetings, preservation of culture and the rejuvenation of country. It is more than just land, it represents a profound cultural and economic legacy for the PKKP community.
