The PKKP Aboriginal Corporation administers the traditional lands and waters on behalf of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people and the Pinikura people. These lands and waters cover approximately 10,888 square kilometres of Western Australia’s Pilbara region, between Onslow and Tom Price.

Type of vacancy: full time, for a fixed term of one year
Remuneration: attractive salary commensurate with experience plus provision for salary sacrifice
Job description overview: this full-time position is to provide logistical, communications, administrative, data management and record-keeping support to the Corporation’s newly-established Culture and Heritage Unit, to ensure efficient completion of on-country Aboriginal heritage survey projects for mining companies, and the Corporation’s own environmental and cultural projects on-country with our Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura members. This position requires an administration and/or compliance background and will involve various aspects of coordinating a broad range of activities including heritage surveys.
